kpcrash
As always, forgive the somewhat sloppy 3-yr old version of schematics, but it's been a day. I was drawing this while on the phone with a guy asking me about throwing a kill switch in at the volume pot because he has a spare DPDT switch. My question is - based on the dashed lines I have drawn in there - would this suffice to keep everything grounded when the killswitch is engaged (pun intended). Can anybody recommend a more solid means of doing this without a momentary switch?
Tim37
That looks like it should work to me. But to make sure I'm looking at it right. The output is connected to the middle lug and then the ground is connected to the lug closest to the pot on the same side of the push pull. kpcrash
You are correct - only instead of using a push/pull - would be a regular switch added. Course, if I were feeling generous, I could donate a push/pull
Tim37
Oh for some reason I thought you said you where using a push pull.
kpcrash
It's all good. I'm just hoping this thing doesn't pop too loudly when the switch is hit.
