Truss Rod Stuff

I'm planning a sg build with a 27" scale, joining at the 20th fret (25.5" scale at 1st fret so this is 19th fret like a sg special). I was planning to have the truss rod go the full length of the fretboard but to do that i need about 20.5 inches. where can i find a rod of this length for a 3/8" channel?

ALLPARTS Bass Trussrod is really long.

ahh but that is too long for what i'm planning. 22 and 24 inch truss rods start poking into where my pickups should be

Might I ask why you need a rod that runs the entire length? I'm not trying to be critical, I just think that you might be able to achieve the desired effect with a standard rod. Also, single action truss rods can be made at home easily and for any length (need a curved channel, though).

@ripthorn i was never sure how far i should go with the length of the truss rod but i figured it should atleast be able to effect the carved portion of the neck, having the block ends in the heel and at the nut. I dont really want a single action rod lol
