I was planning to have the truss rod go the full length of the fretboard but to do that i need about 20.5 inches. where can i find a rod of this length for a 3/8" channel? Ripthorn Posted September 28, 2011 Report Share Posted September 28, 2011 Might I ask why you need a rod that runs the entire length? I'm not trying to be critical, I just think that you might be able to achieve the desired effect with a standard rod. jeremyp Posted September 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2011 @ripthorn i was never sure how far i should go with the length of the truss rod but i figured it should atleast be able to effect the carved portion of the neck, having the block ends in the heel and at the nut.
