My name is Fred, and I live in The New Forest in southern UK.

I am recently retired (electro mechanical engineer), so now have time to start a guitar build

project. It is something I've been wanting to do for a while now, and finding this site and

forums has encouraged me to get started !

I am looking forward to learning a lot here, and will try not to make a pest of myself with

too many newbie questions !!

Welcome Fred. I love the New Forest area. I've been down there on several occasions with my caravan. I love the peace and quiet, and would go and live there like a shot if property rental prices were a little more realistic
