First Inlay Job Help Please

Recommended Posts

If done right, you can have about 1/32" gap around the perimeter of the inlay. You can't really expect more than that without a CNC.

Opinion... Right.

Also, my attack was pertinent to the argument. It wasn't a blatant ad hominem attack like you saying I don't have class. You showed proof that your tolerances aren't legitimate. Me saying you shouldn't be giving inlay advice cause you're not good at inlay (you attached the proof) holds weight in the argument. You saying I'm not classy does not.

Lastly, I didn't first attack you. I stated my reservations about the advice. It was only when you continued to argue it that I was forced to say 'fine, but those are YOUR tolerances, and please don't push them on others when it by no means is an industry standard.' and once again, classy or not, it bears weight to the argument. You forced my hand by continuing to argue.
