Jude
What is the best way to finsish the edges of sound holes without using binding? Maybe paint layers of cyanoacrylate, or something along those lines? Thanks
Prostheta
Generally neither. Are you painting the guitar a solid colour? Is this an acoustic, electric or archtop?
Jude
A Thinline, if it ever gets past the planning stage. Stained wood finish.
Prostheta
In that case, definitely not. I would only consider it for fragile woods that are going under solid paint, and even then it is not required. CA would be more of a fix for a problem than a general step in the process.
