killemall8 Posted November 28, 2014 Report Share Posted November 28, 2014 I have had a big stash of 1/4" cut corian for a long time that I have used for nuts and test nuts on most guitars. I have heard its a great nut material, but no matter what i do or how i slot and clean the slots, the wound strings always saw through it in a matter of weeks. The 7 string i just made had a perfect nut height and within 3 days it is already touching the first fret. Anybody else ever have this happen?
