Norris
I don't seem to be able to vote. Do you have a minimum post count or membership duration before I can do that?
ScottR
I believe there is a minimum post requirement, but do not recall what the number is. We had an issue in the past with people being recruited to sign up just to vote for a particular entry. It certainly hasn't been an issue lately though. I don't think the minimum post count is particularly high though. Get out their and share your opinion a bit and you should get over the hump in time to vote.SR
Norris
8 posts looks to be enough - I now have voting options. Thanks
Prostheta
10 posts - moved down to 5. It was purely to ward off a nasty case of the spambots. Difficult choice this month. That neck wood is just plain wrong on so many good levels, @jessejames. The way it flips at the scarf should be all rights be wrong, but is so right. The neck "looks fast" for some reason I can't put my finger on. Probably the black flatness of the Ebony?I love the retro cool coupled with the whimsy of the headstock. Once I win a lottery and get our Paris apartment, this one can come over to visit, @Mr_Riddler.Both builds are abalone-dressed too. Perhaps I need to figure out a use for that Abalam sheet thats been sat in my bitsbox for ten years eh?
jessejames
It's ziricote, not ebony, but thanks! I was going to back strap it, but honestly, I liked the way it looked so much I just left it be. That neck came out so much better than what I really thought that wood was gonna produce. Thankfully I squirreled away a few pieces of that.
Prostheta
Oh, I meant the fingerboard! I see what you meant though.

jessejames
Mr. Riddlers should win over mine. His is much more intricate than mine, and I love that white wash. Awesome guitar!
Prostheta
That wash is super cool, yes. However, you both did carved-top instruments. There's nothing not-intricate about either of these!
GSGuitars
Both beautiful guitars, the ziricote is fantastic on "Under Pressure" and the fanned frets and sound holes on "Olympus" really grab me... a tough decision for my first vote! Norris
The white wash on Olympus looks fantastic, but then so does the "faded jeans" look on Under Pressure. Seriously not an easy choice to make as both guitars look stunning.
