I have been following this technique since you posted it the first time years ago...and then went it and buried it in a ginormous huge long thread.

This is a great method folks, and it works like a champ.

Do be sure that the plate with the pin in it is square to the bit and secure and stable. The method eliminates the effect of bit wobble....as long as your work piece doesn't wobble too.

Don't ask me how I know....

So if anyone remembers the Hand of Doom build... during the build the HOD threw itself off the bench and broke one of the horns. I managed to find all the pieces and fix it. 

To continue with the broken horn mojo I decided I didn't like what I did with the recessed strap button in the horn. So time to plug the hole.

Tx.  You should see what is hanging on the other walls. 

Building 2 at a time is easier and faster than building 1 at a time
