Drak
It snowed like nuts last night, so I'm off work today, still working on the stereo speakers project, and UPS actually makes it to my door! And what to my wondering eyes does appear? Well, ...it ain't no fat man and his 8 tiny reindeer, I'll tell you that! It were Mistah Brown! I wasn't expecting this today. Fully 2+ inches thick and figure that Marilyn Monroe would die for. Hats off to Smokey Joe Customs for the freebie-share, and Major Props to ANTLER'S EXPRESS (e-bay) for some Magnanimous Maple. Bone dry shots. The third shot was taken with flash for a different 'look'...

Drak
No, East Coast fer shure. Looks to me to be 6" or so... hyunsu, can't tell you what it wind up being just yet! Scott, yeah, I'll probably give it a year or so, I'll have to check back on the auction to see what he said about dry-time, but it's not usable yet, I can tell, it's a little heavier than it should be and has a slightly damp feel to it. Definitely not ready yet (Carribursters can breathe easy! ) I know his stuff is usually still wet, but he really has some quality stuff if you can wait it out. And he is a SUPER nice laid back and easy to deal with guy. AND he has resaw capability right there, and will resaw for you at your request for a VERY reasonable fee. He's resawn 2 items for me so far and the cut is PERFECT. GOD I wish I could find that kind of quality resaw around me locally. The two guys I've been using, well, I still bite my lip every time I take something in...He sliced up a piece of Redwood that was, like, 13 1/2" thick and the cuts were PERFECT. He (Walt) is a *real* pleasure to deal with, compared to the average e-Bay transaction. Can't say enough nice things about him (and his resaw machine!) mdw3332
Drak, I was going to offer you $5 for it, but because you have been so helpful to me in the past, I'll make it $10 and split the shipping. That is gorgeous, can't wait to see it when you get done with it. Marty
