MKGBass
I recently routed the truss rod into one of my neck blanks. at the heel end, the route is approximately 1mm off to the right, and at the nut its approximately 1 mm off to the left. Will this affect anything? Or am I just being paranoid because I spent $150 on wood?
Brian
Honestly I wouldn't worry about it if it's that close

krazyderek
i think $$$ brings out the perfectionist in all of us, honestly i worry about 0.5mm when i do anything in fabricating a guitar, so i'm probably going to give myself a heart attack one day
GuitarMaestro
Will this affect anything? It will not affect anything as long as your slot width and depth is correct along the whole length. Nobody will see it anyway as soon as the fingerboard is attached, but I know how something like that can be annoying and stick in your mind although it matters not at all in the end.
