Bad Moon Guitars
I dont mean to sound dumb. but Is the body in these pics an Ibanez, and if so what model? ( I am not too familiar with the I banez family) Thanks, Keith
canuckguitarist
Looks like an RG, but I don;t know of any that have that HSS p-up configuration...
GuitarMaestro
I definately is an Ibanez RG body shape, but by these pictures it is impossible to judge if it is really made by Ibanez or just a cheap RG body from some other company. Bad Moon Guitars
I think it might be a copy..... not sure thats why I threw the pics up for some help. The body is on ebay for $75 but if its just a copy, is that too much to pay? The bodys i listed as a "Strat style" body so the seller probably doesnt know either. Any other opinions are appreciated. renablistic
It's a copy. Or a homemade body. the tummy contour on an ibanez Rg goes a bit farther down than that. But than agai, don't all Rg's have a regular square/rectangle neck joint? I thought only the Vai's and such had those rounded at the top ones... And that 5-way switch looks too far up... And that 5-way switch looks too far up... nope. thats the AANJ - all access neck joint. its on pretty much all the new ibanez's. i think they started this a year or 2 back. Bad Moon Guitars
Guess it woulb be a safe bet to not purchse this body.
Scott Rosenberger
The Control Cavity doesn't look like an RG Cavity. I'd bet it's one of those Knock Offs
KILOWAT®
i think it's a jackson.... ibanez RG never uses vintage tremolo...
KILOWAT®
it's the first time i saw an RG w/ HSS and vintage tremolo...
krazyderek
looks like it uses a neck plate too which i've never seen on a AANJ RG
westhemann
i would not pay that much for that body even if it is an ibanez
Bad Moon Guitars
I have identified the body! It's a Washburn. Take a look. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...0&category=2384 The whole guitar is only worth $100 brand new! Keith
