sjaguar13
I have a P-90 pickup and it has this white tin thing on the bottom that sticks out the side. That's where the screw holes are. I was looking on eBay, and I didn't see anything like this on any other P-90. In fact, I didn't see how the P-90 is supposed to stay in a guitar at all. lovekraft
The original P-90 was mounted by two screws that went through the pickup body in between the pole pieces, shown in the upper pickup (cream) in this photo. It sounds like your pickup has a dog-ear bracket added so it mounts like a humbucker.
sjaguar13
I figured out why mine looked different...it's not a P-90. It's a 1963 DeArmond.
