Vendelcrow Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 I'm starting to gather the materials for building my first new guitar for over 20 years. I plan to build a St Blues inspired guitar (made by Strings and Things in Memphis in the early 80s). I think Buck Dharma used to play one for a while. I made one for a customer way back then, and it turned into one great sounding guitar. The weight and balance was perfect, and with a mahogany body and maple top it looked great and sounded even better (I wish I still had it around). Designwise it was a crossover between a Telecaster and a Les Paul, with a Tele styled neck and hardware. I've searched the Internet for images, but have only managed to dig up three pics of low quality (useless for turning into a scale drawing). Can anyone help me out?
