manual123 Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 i got this body from a guy on ebay as a lespaul copy with bolt on neck. and a week later i put on my epiphone neck on the body..i didnt had to do so,e moding cause the pocket was smaller than the epips neck, now its finished (almost) with pickups and everything and is totally playable and it sounds great. very great. but because its a carved boby the neck angel or height maybe wrong so the strings are a bit high on the 22th frett.does any one know a solution? tips? maybe measurement i can read? thanks Quote
Primal Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Since it is a bolt on, just shim the neck until the action is how you like it. I hear than veneer makes great neck shims. Quote
Devon Headen Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Shimming works, just don't shim too much, or the neck will become unstable Devon Quote
