sjaguar13 Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 There was a site that was posted here before. The guy had a lot of headstock decals for $10-15. The site wasn't the greatest design wise, but he had some good stuff. Anyone remember it? I need a couple decals. Quote

Mike p.s. discount may not apply now you've dissed my site design Quote
sjaguar13 Posted February 21, 2004 Author Report Posted February 21, 2004 It wasn't you're site. It was a while ago, back before you came here. I first seen the site because the guy also sells on eBay and he put the link everywhere. I know it wasn't a co.uk site, but I'm still going to look anyway. If I can't find the other site, I'll just get them from you. Quote
decalshopmike Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 There was one guy a while ago, but I think he stopped doing them as I havent seen any auctions from him for a while. If you cant find it let me know and we can sort you out with whatever you need. mike Quote
alan hipson Posted February 21, 2004 Report Posted February 21, 2004 Hi Dumb question ? How do you apply your decals ? peel and stick or under the finnish ? Alan Quote
sjaguar13 Posted February 21, 2004 Author Report Posted February 21, 2004 I put all mine under the finish. Quote
decalshopmike Posted February 22, 2004 Report Posted February 22, 2004 For Alan - you can download a copy of our free fitting and refinishing guide from www.thedecalshop.co.uk/Decal.doc - this covers everything you need to know to fit a decal and refinish the head afterwards. All our decals are compatable with either Nitro or Acrylic lacquer, and are waterproof and fadeproof - be careful if you get decals from other suppliers as some print them on Inkjets, and they will fade quickly and can react with the lacquer ! I'd always recommend lacquering over as not only does it protect the decal from scratches or chips, it also looks a lot more professional once done. Applying decals is pretty simple, but it can take a while to get the hang of it, if anyone ever needs any tips, just drop me an e-mail Mike Quote
