jay5 Posted February 22, 2004 Report Share Posted February 22, 2004 Hi all! I was wondering if there is any difference in telecaster headstocks as far as length and shape go? Have they varried from year to year? I have a couple of templates, one from the telemoders forum as well as another and they both look good on my neck template but are different lengths. I havent gotten the software to look at the ones here in the d-load section. I am going to try to match them up to some teles at the local shop but I wanted to get an idea before that if possible. krazyderek Posted February 28, 2004 Report Share Posted February 28, 2004 from the front of the nut (fingerboard side) to the end of the headstock i get 18.3 cm (7 3/16") and the total width looks to be about 7.6mm (3") on my squire mexico tele.
