KeithHowell
I presume you mean the nuts! Just use a flat spanner (take the knob off first). Hold the body of the pot so it doesn't turn while undoing the nut. Keith
Southpa
I use a long socket from my tool kit.
Sethmetal
Sockets definitely. I bought a 6-in-1 screwdriver tool by husky....It has a socket on the handle that works perfectly. It makes switching between screwdriver and socket really quick.
Kevan
If you can, get a socket and grind/sand the face of it flat. Less chance of rounding those little buggers. This also works quite well for machine head nuts (the little guys that attach the tuners to the headstock).
Lex Luthier
Yeah, I got a nice imperial and metric socket set for X-mas and found them to work great for tuning maching bushing nuts, pot nuts, mini switch nuts, etc. I found I didn't even need touse the wrench with them, just grip the socket and hand tighten them.
