GuitarMaestro
Why wierd tools? You measure the width of the fingerboard at one spot and the height in the middle and on the side of that spot and then you have everything you need to calc the radius.... westhemann
yeah if you have a micrometer(am i thinking of calipers?) and the right geometry equations...but the difference between a 10" and a 9.5" for example is rather small...normal measuring tools are hard to be that accurate with
Guitarfrenzy
Why not just buy a set of Fingerboard Radius Guages.

Yeah thanks that's all I wanted to know.....so how would I go about finding the radius of my gibson LP? btw by weird tools I meant the type of stuff Stewmac sells, I mean like special rulers and such, they arent weird, you just cant find them at your local hardware store usually. Special Tools I should say?
