I really wanna stay away from the classic triple strat style if poss. I want a warm tone and quite clear. I'm not really bothered about heavy distortion. any ideas?!? I'm not really bothered about heavy distortion.< I think you might like P-90s then! seymour duncan has just started making P-90 fat cats, these are P-90 pickups that fit in to a humbucker mounting ring, though, P-90s them selfs are of a single coil design. P-90s are often described as having the twang of a tele, yet the mid range and out put of a humbucker. I'm gonna get one my self I think to put in the middle position on my project.
