Rones Posted March 10, 2004 Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 Well, again confused! I am ready to rout my pickup cavities. does this sound about right? They are Seymour Duncan HB's, the jazz in the neck, then the #5 in the bridge, same dimensions.... I am gonna route the main area about 1/2" to 5/8" deep, then the side wings about 1" deep. I guess I am confused as to the depth I should make my routes. I just dont want to mess up! Also, am I right to route both the bridge and neck to the same specs? guitar_ed Posted March 10, 2004 Report Share Posted March 10, 2004 Howdy, The physical dimensions of the PUPs should be identical, provided that they are both either F(ender) or G(ibson) spaced.
