ultraman Posted March 21, 2004 Report Share Posted March 21, 2004 ihave a marshall valvestate 8080 model there seems to be a faulty input when i wiggle the plug around. the volume goes up and down and somwtimes cpoletely goes off but this only happens while im on the clean channel. when on the dirty channel theres no problem. any tips anyone? ansil Posted March 21, 2004 Report Share Posted March 21, 2004 i agree there with weezer boy but i am thinking aklthough i couldnt' find the exact schematic there may be an internal short in the clean channel from the input to the channel selection.. but again if you dont' know much about electronics. then i would leave it to a professional. amplifers are not where u wish to start with..
