ibreakemineedtobuildem
I have a piece of granite....I mean cherry that i was making a tele out of.Could I take out some of the high end snap, and warm it up some with drilling alot of little holes instead of a cavity and put another wood to top it? Primal
If you are going to go to all that trouble, why not just go ahead and make it semi-hollow?
westhemann
if you put a top on it use a mahogany one.it's warmth will add some life to the cold, harsh cherry. one thing about a combination of woods like that...it certainly has a distinctive tone.all the high frequencies hurt my ears
Drak
Why not give something like this a try? You'll actually achieve a semi-hollow tone this way
ibreakemineedtobuildem
I saw that and liked it .I thought that bigger cavities would bring a lot of mids with a high cut.
Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
I would like to reccomend a lacewood top and back. It will look far more attractive than mahogany, yet sound quite the same.
