alan hipson
Hi Anyone know the correct way to fit Fenders own make locking tuners ? Do you drill two holes for the prongs at the back or will they go in by themself when the nut is tightened ? Alan
Scott Rosenberger
you have to drill the 2 holes. I would never do it without this jig that stewmac sells Here it makes it almost impossible to do it wrong and it's pretty reasonibly priced. VanKirk
Be sure not to drill too deep. I've seen a few posts where people went right through the front of the headstock. I'm not 100% sure but I think the Stew-Mac jig only positions where the holes will be drilled not the depth. Is this true Scott? um...Mr. Rosenberger
jammy
looks like a position only thing to me....
