dave_hull Posted April 7, 2004 Report Share Posted April 7, 2004 Hey all this is my first post on here. I have been planning on putting together a strat for months now. I have finally started. I have a blue strat (Fender) and unfortunatly a squire neck just for now. I have bought everything but electronics. (Oh the Hot Rails is coming soon!) What type of wire should i buy? Single core? Stranded? The capacitor, i decided on just a 0.020 cap but i dont know what exactly to ask for. I want one with the "long legs". If im having a Hot Rails i was told that seem as they are made for starts they should be used with 250k cos a friend put 500k in with his hotrails and he said it was way to bright. Also does anyone have a diagram for a strat, 2 tone, 1 volume, 5 way switch, hotrails in bridge, stock strat pups in neck and mid with a coil split on position 2 (i think) of the switch?
