here are the specs of my first guitar that im going to start this summer with my grandfather who is a skilled woodworker:

Scale Length: 25"

Number of Frets: 22

Neck Depth: 1" Body End, 6/8" Nut End

Body: Fender Strat Style, Countoured, Light blue finish, white pick guard.

Neck Joint: Bolt On

Bridge: Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Standard Posts, 'Stop' style Tailpiece, Nickel

Bridge Height: 1/2"

Neck Angle: 2 Degrees

Body Thickness: 1 3/4 In

Peghead Angle: 14 Degrees

Nut Width: 1 5/8 In

Truss Rod: Slotted Nut Hot Rod

Pick-Ups:  Golden Age Humbuckers, Neck and Bridge, Nickel Covers

Knobs:  Strat Style

Tuners:  Economy Covered Gear Tuners, 6 in Line

I don't know, I'm pretty taken with the Golden Age 'buckers in my latest. I've never been much of a gear head, but I've tried a few different humbuckers, and I like these plenty, certainly as much as the Kent Armstrongs I've got in my other guitars.

The price is certainly right... B)
