Tuners?

i saw a on a members site a while back he had a big listing of gotoh or schaller tuners, it was a pdf and it had all of the models they made, but he said he didnt cary them. some of them looked really nice, but it seems that the main companies that carry them just carry the basic few very plain models.

where can i buy a range of schaller or gotoh tuners? any idea?

There's always good old Stewart-MacDonald, and Brian carries a bunch at Universal Jems.

PS, I bought a set of Grover tuners at my local music shop for about 30% less than what StewMac charges... you might want to see if your nearest guitar shop stocks accessories.

PPS, When you say a 'range', do you want to buy a bunch of stock so that you can re-sell them? If so, ignore my post.

i always thought they sold them in 3's for some reason.

for the gotoh 'organic' 510's are 60 bucks EACH it says.

and warmoth has schaller mini-lockers for 8$ each.

misprint, or is the high end gotoh stuff really that expensive?

stew mac sells the standard gotoh tuners... (sg300 series) they're pretty nice

Allied luthierie sells the high end gotoh tuners (x -series)

Er, I was looking at that, KD, but didn't investigate too deeply because of the message:

"Dreamland Guitars does NOT currently sell Gotoh hardware".

Asm, it's gotta be a typo... that $60 will be for a set, not for one machine head.

gotoh 510 from allied luthier = 60$

do people really spend 400$ to but decent tuners on their guitars?

is there that big of a difference in quality?
