jay5
If I have a neck that I want to remove the fretboard and truss rod from that is adjustable from the headstock and use these parts on a new neck I'm making that will be adjustable from the heel will I encounter any problems with the truss rod. Are truss rods designated heel/headstock adjustment?
Scott Rosenberger
it will work the same, but you'll have to route farther down the neck towards the heel to get it to fit I believe. IMO it's easier to buy a new one but that's just my opinion
guitar_ed
I have another question: Why would you want to adjust the neck from the heel? You have to remove the neck from the guitar to adjust it. Guitar Ed Just my silly @@ssed opinion
krazyderek
depending on how you make the body you can deisgn it so that the truss rod is still accessible, but usualy the truss rods with the big wheel at the end are better for that..
