MKGBass
I'm in need of a new spray gun, I'll probably get something cheap ($100) because I need to get one in the next few days for a job and ordering isn't an option. I'll probably go to Sears. I'm just wondering whether I should get an HVLP gun or not. Thanks, Kirk
Drak
You can't hook an airbrush up to an HVLP (that I know of anyway)... But they do conserve product and are more environmentally friendly... But I'm comfortable with my compressed air system. Besides, you get compressed air, to blow off your wood and blow the wood chips and dust from your hair and clothes and workbench and stuff! Just having the compressed air around is important to me in itself. Let's see some old stanky HVLP gun do all that!
JohnJohn
You can hook up an airbrush to an HVLP system, but, you need to have a regulator.Too much pressure and the brush won't work right. Quick funny-imagine seeing a guy painting a t-shirt @100 psi
