kls1
Just found this site and it looks like a good place for my question(s) I am building a custom guitar after amassing all kinds of parts . The body I am using is a semi-hollowbody made from routed out mahogany with a maple top . The body is routed for humbucker pick ups (bridge and neck) . I purchased a set of humbucker pick ups along with a set of modern vintage wound Rickenbacker pick ups . I am planning to route the pick up slots to accomodate either pick up but was curious if I should make the slot for the bridge pick up as close to the bridge as possible or will this cause interferance problems with that pick up? Curtis P
The closer to the bridge the more attack (metal) sound you get, if thats the sound you wont give 'er but its all a personal choice Curtis
