Drak Posted May 2, 2004 Report Share Posted May 2, 2004 I would steer very clear of any oil-based stains unless you know exactly what you're doing with them, the alcohol and water-based stains are easily obtainable and I very much prefer them. Enter at your own risk there. Can it be done? Hell, anything 'can' be done, but there's more risks associated with oil stains than the others, I put too much effort into a guitar to knowingly walk into a minefield and get my danged leg blowed clean off...
