lowe9 Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Well you see i was busy writing a biology exam, and finished writing it early. I then attempteted to draw a les paul on the back of my exam paper. Needless to say, i failed horribly. but i did come up with this cool looking design. I'm looking for opinions on how to improve the design, and maybe a headstock idea. I also photoshopped up this badboy, a double cut version Original and the double cut Lowe out. Quote
jbkim Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 The first one reminds me of the Neal Schon guitar from the 80's: http://www.edromanguitars.com/guitar/home_sch.htm Quote

jbkim Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Someone always has to spoil the party dont they haha Yeah, I peed in the fishtank and clogged the toilet on my way out . Quote
madcow Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 first ones awesome, but i don't like them doulbe cut les pauls, and when you peed in the fish tank, did the fish die? Quote
GregP Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 The first one is really nice. It's not quite as wonky as the Schon one. Since it's just a sketch, the neck's come out a bit wide, but I can imagine what it would look like with a properly-dimensioned neck, and I think it's a winner. Greg Quote
Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Looks kinda like a guitar Paul Stanley had on the Revenge tour Quote
lowe9 Posted May 5, 2004 Author Report Posted May 5, 2004 thanks for the feedback, any suggestions on a headstock design for her? Quote
canuckguitarist Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 As is, I like the first one. But I think the second one could be cool if it was kinda......offset. As for a headstock shape. I think that the second body design could be a cool headstock shape in itself, if the 2 horns were a little less pronounced. Quote
