ManWhoSoldTheWorld Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 I'm refinishing my guitar, and I know what I want the finish to look like. But I'm not sure how to apply it. I don't have an airbrush or anything, I'm doing it out of aerosol cans, so I'm not even sure IF it can be done. The main color for the top of the body is going to be a nice deep burgandy satin I have, and I want it to kind of "fade" to black around the edges, as the sides and back will be black. I don't have much of an example, but my friend has a squier strat with "3 color sunburst" finish, but it's basically a brownish wood finish that fades to black. Sorry I'm not too clear, I hope someone can understand what I'm saying. Quote
