Grounding a telecaster bridge

Thanks yes it's a standard tele bridge with Texas special pups. But what about for the control panel?

Why not just connect the control panel to the ground wire of the bridge pickup?

If the bridge is not the standard Tele type and the pickup is not in contact with the bridge itself....you will have to drill a small hole from the electronics cavity to the underside of the bridge so that you may snake a ground wire which will enable you to make contact with the underside of the bridge...in the case of a tune'o'matic style bridge......you have to be more precise and drill a small hole that allows you to ground to one of the posts of the bridge.

How do I go about grounding a telecaster bridge?

Thanks,

Mike

You stick a bare wire under the bridge before you screw it down, from the front, going into the bridge pkp cavity, then screw your bridge down, thus 'clamping' the wire between the bridge and wood underneath, then just run it back into your central grounding pot.

Done. :D
