Curtis P
Well, I am going to be building a guitar like this one this summer, Mahogany body with ash centre, carve top (what else on guitar like that??) so, figurin, hmmm, be awfully cool to have distortion pedal in the guitar, so I was talkin to my electronics teacher and I can build a circuit board at lunchs at school, so, thats cool, and, if you notice, the treble and rythm switch, thats going to be my clean and dirty switch, one master volume and then the other 3 knobs are going to be to adjust the pedal, at the back, there is going to be the control lids (that the right word? havin a brain fart almost) and it will give me access to the battery, and, since you have to run a cord from amp to pedal to guitar, I am going to figure it out soemhow, maybe ansil can help me out? Anyways, plannin on puttin a tube screamer in it, or maybe something else, going to check out generalguitargadgets.com and see what i can find Curtis
lovekraft
You mean this one? Seems like somebody just did a thread on that axe - it reminds me of From Dusk Till Dawn for some reason. All you have to do to install a TS in the guitar is to hook up the output from your volume knob to the input of the TS and hook the TS output to the output jack, and then find room for the board and battery. I'd use a stereo jack wired as a battery switch on the output to save batteries, and make sure everything's well-shielded, but it shouldn't be a big hassle -go for it!
