LGM Guitars Posted June 7, 2004 Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 Well, here's the thing, a TURBINE HVLP is typically over $1000. So for $79 I would really question it. I don't think you'll get a very good finish with it in all honesty. I don't like HVLP guns at all for finishing, for base coat paint it's OK, for clear they suck, but you'd be further ahead to buy something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW and a compressor. That gun is alright, it will do for now, if you want to invest in a really nice gun, look at the Iwata LPH series of the Sata Minijets. They are expensive but they will last a lifetime.
