davros
Hi, I'm planning to wire my project to This Schematic. On closer inspection, when the bridge pickup is split, one coil has a hot connection at one end and a ground at the other, whereas the other has the hot at both ends, does this work the same as when the ground is at both ends???? Also, when you have two humbuckers, both split, to make them humbuck each other, does one simply have to be the north coil and the other the south?? ALSO (oh yeah, i'm a pain)...does it matter which way around the pickups go, i.e. south (with adjustable poles) towards the neck or bridge? It seems that most guitars have the adjustable poles towards the neck (on the neck p/u) and the bridge towards the bridge, however the diagram (above) shows them with screw poles towards the bridge on both pickups? Any help would be great!!!

Yes, the coil is shorted either way. Also, when you have two humbuckers, both split, to make them humbuck each other, does one simply have to be the north coil and the other the south??That's it!
