westhemann
i would really love to make a seven string version....
Strange Fruit
personally, i think it looks like a Neal Moser. Might be wrong though... Mr Fruit
Drak
I agree on the Moser angle. Want me to ask over there Wes? I don't post much, but am a member. Even if it's not 'from' Neil, those guys will know for sure what it is, it's got their 'look' spot-on.
westhemann
yeah i want to know what it is a seventh string and some 707s would make that the baddest axe in existence

BLS
yeah i want to know what it is a seventh string and some 707s would make that the baddest axe in existence or the 7 string EMG 81's now if only they made a 7-string Kahler

westhemann
thanks drak.... i guess now the question is should i build an exact copy(i don't know where i would get drawings for it)or should i just incorporate some of the design into my own v if it had been a moser custom or something like that i would have just waited a few years and saved the money to buy one,but i really don't want a mass produced guitar
westhemann
http://www.ricojrguitars.com/gallery/vixen/index.html well okay then
dcamp67
Mass produced???? Hmmmmm, me thinks not! Kind of like what I had in mind for my V, shape wise, except I wanted a more traditional Gibson type headstock. A-la 3x3 arrowhead. Wes, do you mind if I use your walnut neck-thru outline idea? I'm going to use bird's eye for the wings instead of alder, though.
westhemann
Mass produced???? Hmmmmm, me thinks not! they are mass produced...i found a cheapo for sale at drumcityguitarland after drak got a namefor it obviously they are available handmade for more than i could ever afford neal moser customs however are much more reasonably priced

Hmmmmm, me thinks not! they are mass produced...i found a cheapo for sale at drumcityguitarland after drak got a namefor it obviously they are available handmade for more than i could ever afford neal moser customs however are much more reasonably priced (in my best Johnny Carson voice) I did not know that! I didn't know Rico Jr. was mass producing anything. The pitfalls of not having a Sam Ass nearby!!

dcamp67
http://www.drumcityguitarland.com/guitar_i...10-04/d/011.jpg it looks import to me What makes you think so? I was trying to see what the fretboard was made of, that would be a good guage. Ebony=possible hand built, Rosewood=probable mass produced import?
