bob7
Im thinking of going with a string through body style guitar, instead of a trem for my first build, for 2 reasons (1 its a bit easier, and 2 all of my other guitars are trem). So what are the options for this? I know there is the TOM, and some of the strat style non trems, but does anyone have any others
Jehle
I would think that those are your two main options for string through. Well, there is a Strat type, but there is also the Telecaster type. Depending on what you want it to look like, you could go either way there. TOM bridges and string through designs seem a lot less common. Or, they were until recently. That seems to be a fashionable thing to do nowadays. I can't think of any others.
spirit
Jehle has it right. Or you could do something crazy like have a compensated block on ebony laid into the appropriate spot in the guitar!!
