Clavin Posted June 26, 2004 Report Share Posted June 26, 2004 If money isn't an issue get the Foredom flex shaft tool and a full range of Stew-Mac downcut carbide bits. 1/8" through 1/32 I believe they come in. Setch Posted June 27, 2004 Report Share Posted June 27, 2004 It also came up recently on the MIMF that dremel have changed the design of their rotary tools. Apparently they now use a rubber bushing around the area of the main bearing to prevent vibration and noise - with the unfortunate side effect of allowing the shaft to drift, making it useless for high tolerence work like inlay.
