Devon Headen
Why make a kit if you're gonna let other people decide everything for you? Why not just buy a stock LP or something?
monkey69962000
well i make the kit because i dont want the stock colors and im customizing on a bolt on neck instead of a set neck. There are also many other things too that are different then the stock also. Soi know i didnt put this on the inlays forum but i need colors. I thought blue would be cool but then not. Now im with doing like decals of different fades of each color. i need help on every color and what you always though a kick a$$ les paul would look like. My opinion right now i wierd so i need help deciding.

skibum5545
Part of me says go for the Dupont Chromalusion colorshift, but that's pretty $$. A blue metallic burst would really make a Les Paul stand out. Carriburst is in fact a great idea! That's my vote if the other two don't suit your style. lovekraft
Black binding on metallic pearl white, with old school hotrod pinstriping in red and black met pearl. Nobody does that any more!
skibum5545
ok now how do you paint a metalic blueburst. That sounds awsome. Well, although I've never done it, I could imagine you just do a very wide edged burst with metallic blue. Even better, dye the whole thing blue before doing the burst. webster
i saw an epi LP that was yellow, it was one of the coolest guitars. It was a real fluro yellow.
rhoads56
My question is: why are you buying a kit, then adding LEDS to the fretboard?? That negates the purchase of a kit, and says to me you havent even THOUGHT about what your doing.

Maiden69
Ain't this the ELECTRONICS side, ???? PAINT??? Well since evrybody already input on it, will have to say the blue metallic, eighter the burst or a deep blue (deeper than lake placid blue) try indigo blue ( Ithink Gibson has it) but with very big metallic flakes, chromed and blue to get the shimmering to a max when the lights hits it.
