Thunder
I am finishing up the blue print stage of a strat style guitar. It will have a Lo Pro tremolo. Question is: Does the unit's base rest above/on the body (like a fixed bridge) or flush with the body (ie.. in the rout)?
Brian
The base for the trempost anchors is countersunk into the body so your going to have to route out a platform for them if you want it to sit low enough. The trem itself is a true floating tremolo system which doesn't sit on the body but rather in the body due to the way the routing is in that cavity. Thunder
Thanks for the info. So as I understand you, the only portions that will be "proud" of the guitar body are the saddles?
Brian
Take a look here, to see how it fits in the cavity.
