Meegs666
i need to decide what kind of finish im gonna put on my korina rhoads. im thinking about a quilted veneer with a deep blood red stain and some kind of binding. what would you guys suggest? it can be anything as long as i can get some ideas. daveq
Is it white Korina or black limba? If it's black limba, I'd just use a clear coat. If not, how about a cool airbrush job of some sort?
Im not good at this
In my limited knowledge, i would say just use a clear coat, or maybe an oil finish? I wouldnt use a veneer, Korina looks prettygood in most cases IMO, and you didnt spend all that money on it just to cover it up. I think i know what im talking about, Tim

skibum5545
I wouldn't go red as IMHO it would clash with the limba. Natural maple goes really well with limba; I can't think of a better color for it than, well, maple colored.
litchfield
Black limba looks cool dyed red.
