jpwannabe
I'm installing new pickups on my rg550, Air Norton/ Steve's Special and an 3 way toggle switch simular to the JPMs I've got the wiring diagram but I need someone to walk me through the process, Also does it matter which side the toggle faces? or would both side be the same if I wire it correctly. Also on the schemtic it shows the volume pots are 500k, are the orignal ones on my rg550 500k? would it be okay if I'm not using 500k. thanks Alan
Brian
Yes those are 500k mini's on your RG550 and if you swap them out I would stick with 500ks unless you want it to change tone drasticaly
jpwannabe
hi i'm on the last step, on the Ibanez rg550 there are 2 wires left one from the bridge which is to the volume pot ground, there is also one left under the single coil pickup thats been stabled by a screw, where am I suppose to wire that one? Thanks Alan
horstausmforst
Just solder both to the back of your volume pot and you should be fine. They're both ground wires.
