4twenty
When figuring out how deep to rout the neck pocket, i understand that the nut and bridge must be level, but what sort of action does it leave the guitar with? Is it ideal, too low so you have to raise the saddles, or too high so you have to lower the saddles? Thanks guys
Jivin
Im not confidant enough to answer your question, but I do know that regardless of whether or not you get you answers here, you can find out everything related to your question and probably most other questions you will think of from one of the few good books around. I have Martin Koch's Guitar Building book and i can say for sure it will explain to you the issue you are having trouble grasping.
