Guitar1Jesse
Is it possible to replace inlays that are all chipped and gouged up? If so, how do i go about doing that?
soapbarstrat
if they are plastic, they need to be pried/popped out using thin blades, etc. If the board is dark, it's easier to hide the damaged wood that happens around the inlay from digging in enough to get at it. Or in a case like yours where you don't want to save them, you can drill out the middle of the inlay and start breaking it out from the middle, and if done right , should leave you with pretty clean cavities, unless they used super-glue
Guitar1Jesse
Is there some way to just re-surface them? Without worrying about color, because i'm thinking about painting a design that would cover them up. thanks!
