sscovill
Hi All, I'm going to build a Les Paul and have found a hardwood company that sells Mahogany. My question is this: Is there a dryness rating system or at least specific questions to ask them regarding the wood's dryness? Thanks, Steve
Primal
Seems like I remember reading that you want a moisture content of 12% or less for guitar wood.

sscovill
Perfect. I just called the supplier and their moisture content ranges between 5%-7% so it sounds like I'll be good to go. Thanks for the replies and the help. Steve
