bluespresence
It depends on how it's attached to the stem of the pot. If it has a tiny hole in the side of the volume knob then you have an allen head screw in there you need to tighten down after it's mounted. If it's a plastic "speed knob" type and the stem has a split in it just gently open up the space in between the 2 stems where it's split and push the knob back on. I have seen some with a split stem and an allen screw so you have to make sure you tighten the allen screw against the metal of the stem and not into the space between. I hope that makes sense!! Ki swordsman
(diagram) --> (||) (don't do this either) you don't want to tighten the allen screw in this way either as you'll close the stems you can bend them back out but it'll weaken the metal slightly
68 lost souls
Its a split shaft. So what I understand from those posts are that I gently open the split a bit and then just pop the dial back on? Just double checking and aking sure thats right before I do more damage.
