The 81 is a screaming lead "bleebadoobleebadoobleebadooWAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!" kinda of sound, whereas the 85 has that bassy "jug jugga jug juggady jah JAH!!" sound. I like the 81/85 better than 81/81.
