silvertonessuckbutigotone
im at stew-mac and there is a buffing wheel and a polishing pad, whats the difference, im assuming that the polishing pad is for keeping finishes shiny, and the buffing wheel is for making them shiny, i asked someone who is experienced with buffing wheels but not with guitar buffing or polishing, he said he believes its the same thing, but hes not quite sure, can anyone help me, im hoping i can just use the buffing wheel and not have to buy the polishing compounds, is that possible? Gorecki
Yes they are the same thing. You can avoid using compounds but more sanding and a final polish is the result.
