Titebond isnt as good most everything else. Its better. Seriously though, it works awesome in my experience and I remember reading a strength of bond test where it was among the best. Titebond II is a little thin and Titebond III is waterproof and what not.

gorrilla glue (or grip i forget), is quite strong and nice (i think my center boddy joint is set in stone), though it does feel like honey on your fingers when still wet. but the main drawback i see is that it expands when it dries, so if there is any glue on the wood (not in the joint), they come out as yellowish ballons which are quite annoying, though a quick wipe with a rag should fix the problem before it starts.

bubinga topped explorer? that is going to be one heavy [in tonage and weight] axe dude. i love bubinga so much. i love it so much i have stocked up on it not to mention it is going to be the centre piece of my axe. infact, i have a piece standing up right next to me as i sit typing here. i adore it! anyway, Titebond is superior. i use it at college for all my woodwork. it bonds so strong so quick, it is a miracle in a bottle. blows PVA out of the water, i will never use PVA again. Hail Titebond.
